Kerry Versus Bush: Whoever Wins... We Lose

Seen the poster for the new Alien Vs. Predator movie?

I asked Scott Ricamore, an old highschool buddy of mine, to see if he could work his magic on this poster. I think he did a damn good job. Give him money.

Awesome. I'm going to have to steal that for my "Why I Won't Be Voting" article.
He should've kept the alien drool for Shrub, though.

Yeah.. cause the one thing that every bleeding heart democrat that spouts how terrible Bush is and needs to be out is this: Kerry was choosen as a sacrificial lamb to lose. The DMC didn't want to waste a "good" canidate against a seemingly unstoppable Bush, so they threw in Kerry... little did they know that the anti-war movement would give them so much momentum. The higher-level democrats are scared s***less that Kerry might win, knowing that he's not anymore up to the job than Bush in their eyes.

Oh, forgot to mention, great job Scott.

Aaron I just spent 5 minutes typing a response to your comment but then I realized it would be competely wasted on a moron.

That is real impressive!

I like the poster! I wouldn't vote for either anyway: I'll be voting for Peroutka/Reese on the Constitution Party ticket.

Posted by: David at August 16, 2004 06:08 AM

I Like.

Everyone should vote for either Constitution Party or Libertarian Party (Badnarik). Any other vote for president this year is a vote for either socialism or fascism

Posted by: Perry at August 16, 2004 08:35 AM

I don't know why anyone still votes when this democratic process the 1787 Constitution imposed upon us has taken our society down, down, down. We have been victimized by a Roman judicial system a Roman Senate,an enslaving debt-money system, and endless creation of barriers to our freedoms by a bunch of ego-tripping clowns in the legislatures. They pile tens of thousands of new laws upon us year after year. When do we wake up and say "enough is enough?"

Posted by: Bob Taft at August 16, 2004 12:39 PM

It's the Corporatist vs the Marxist. Either way the Constitution dies and the people are enslaved.
They have stolen all of my gold. All I have left to offer is lead, at 2800 feet/sec.

what a joke!

Just for the record, I wasn't saying W is a good canidate either... I totally agree with the "they both suck more ass than a lapotomy" angle.

Does anyone know the website that is advertising the "martial law familiarization" tour that will be in New York City?

The tour guarantees a mass traffic congestion, armed police dressed in military apparel and a general threatening atmosphere.

Some may even have the privilege of random search.

Hahahaha! That's beautiful. And trust me, it's not just a libertarian sentiment...

Here is a URL that goes along with what is being said about JFK (John Kerry) and GW. Nice little song and danc by the two of them.

The hip, cool sarcasm of the haughtier than thou will only get Shrub re-elected. Lesser of two evils, every time.

Angry! Angry, I say!

I'm not a "Photoshop" guy. I had this idea about two months ago and have been working on it since in my free time. I've completed everything except the transparency around the faces that I need. (And someone needs to introduce the graphic software industry to the word "intuitive!)

I actually felt relatively clever for a brief moment. Now all my time seems wasted. You bastards.

In response to Bob Taft's comments regarding the Constitution, we have these problems because we keep electing immoral men who ignore the Constitution and it's restraints on runaway government. It's time we start impeaching these guys and filling our Congress with men who will vote NO on everything. It really doesn't matter who the President is (although I like Peroutka). It matters who is sitting in Congress. They have the bulk of the power because they are supposed to be the direct representatives of the people.

Now that google is making money for the larger corporations, how much money will the small websites get paid for hosting the search capability?

Will the policies remain the same of only paying some sites and not others?

Mayor: Stadium could be used for protesters
By TIMOTHY WILLIAMS
Associated PRess Writer
August 20, 2004, 6:30 PM EDT

NEW YORK -- Mayor Michael Bloomberg, visiting Athens for the Olympic games on Friday, said a proposed stadium on Manhattan's West Side for the New York Jets could also be used by protesters like those planning to converge on the Republican National Convention at the end of the month.

"Think about the people that want to protest for the Republican convention," said Bloomberg, according to a transcript of a press conference provided to reporters by the mayor's office.

"Wouldn't it be great if you could put 100,000-odd people indoors and they could have a real protest? I mean, I think that would be a venue that New York City should have so that people who want to express themselves can get together. They have rights too."

The proposed stadium is also the centerpiece of the city's 2012 Olympic bid.

Bloomberg has refused to grant a permit for anti-war demonstrators to hold a rally on Aug. 29 in Central Park, the day before the convention begins. Instead, the city has offered a spot on the West Side Highway, which protesters have rejected as being too far away from the convention site at Madison Square Garden.

The main protest group, United for Peace and Justice, filed a lawsuit this week over the matter. On Friday, attorneys for the city and protest groups argued their case in federal court.

The convention is scheduled from Aug. 30-Sept. 2.

Loren Riegelhaupt of the New York Association for Better Choices, which opposes the stadium, criticized the mayor's comments: "Whether it is the most expensive football stadium ever or the most expensive protest area ever, the West Side Stadium is a colossal waste of $600 million in taxpayer resources and that's what the vast majority of New Yorkers are really protesting against."
